Job Description: Senior Programme Officer (Special Projects)
Impact Investing Ghana is seeking a dynamic leader who is passionate about social transformation as a Senior Programme Officer (Special Projects) to lead the design, planning, execution, and monitoring of various impact investment initiatives.
The role is a senior leader in the IIGh programs team and involves leading program design, implementation, and evaluation for our special projects and managing relationships with IIGh’s key partners. The ideal candidate will have robust program design, project management, leadership, analytical and communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively, manage multiple tasks, and adapt to dynamic project needs.

Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities will include:
1. Lead the strategic design and development of new programs, including engaging key stakeholders, facilitating co-creation workshops, and authoring program design documents and budgets.
2. Provide high-level project management and leadership across multiple programs, ensuring quality content development, effective execution, and timely delivery of key outputs, including event planning.
3. Drive impact investment initiatives, overseeing the planning, execution, and monitoring to achieve critical project milestones.
4. Build and nurture strong relationships with members, partners, and global stakeholders, enhancing collaboration and strategic partnerships.
5. Serve as the key liaison between project teams and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication, alignment, and coordination.
6. Oversee the preparation of comprehensive project documentation, including reports, presentations, and strategic updates for senior leadership.
7. Manage project budgets and track expenditures, ensuring efficient allocation of financial resources.
8. Lead the organization’s high-profile project events, workshops, and training sessions, ensuring successful execution.
9. Ensure all projects comply with organizational standards and regulatory requirements, addressing any quality or compliance issues proactively.
10. Contribute to monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL) systems to assess program impact and drive continuous improvement.
11. Collaborate as a senior leader within a remote-working team, contributing to the overall success of the organization’s strategic objectives.

Requirements:
● Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Finance, or a related field.
● Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in project management, program coordination, or a similar role with increasing responsibilities.
● Strong team management and interpersonal skills with the ability to establish and cultivate relationships with diverse stakeholders.
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
● Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management abilities.
● Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
● Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and familiarity with CRM systems is desirable.
● Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise effectively, and meet deadlines.
