Africa Impact Summit 2025 to be held in Accra, June 11-12, to Drive Sustainable Growth Across Africa’s Impact Economy

Accra, Ghana—The Africa Impact Investment Group (AIIG) has announced the 3rd edition of the Africa Impact Summit, which will take place in Accra, Ghana, on June 11-12, 2025. The summit kicks off with a pre-conference study tour in Nigeria on June 9th and 10th, which will offer additional insights into the region’s evolving landscape. The AIS is the leading forum driving networking, deal-making, and impact investing thought leadership in Africa.

The summit builds on the successes of the inaugural summit in Cape Town in 2023 and in Nairobi, Kenya in 2024, which saw significant impact from curated deal rooms to drive investment into SMEs, sessions to increase collaboration, unlock financing, drive innovation and reduce barriers to impact investing.  The AIIG,  comprising Impact Investing Ghana, Impact Investors Foundation (Nigeria), Impact Investing Kenya, Impact Investing South Africa and the Zambia National Advisory Board for Impact Investing along with task forces from Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Côte d’Ivoire, D.R.C, Egypt, Ethiopia, Malawi, Mauritius, Morocco, Namibia, Senegal, Seychelles, Tanzania, Togo, Tunisia, Uganda and Zimbabwe, is dedicated to fostering sustainable development on the continent and driving forward the impact economy across Africa.

The 2025 summit will place a strong emphasis on building platforms to mobilise capital at scale for impact, especially for small and medium enterprises, policy action to accelerate and scale progress and research and knowledge capture to inform action and enable scaling of what works. Participants will delve into advancements in agriculture, healthcare, energy, and education that are transforming lives and communities in Africa. Additionally, the urgent need for investments in climate-smart solutions will be a key focus. Deal rooms, facilitated by Deal Source Africa, will enable tailored partnerships that connect investor interests with Africa’s diverse growth needs, fostering meaningful discussions that can lead to actionable investments.
