Job Title: ESO Program Assistant
Reports To: Senior Program Officer, Enterprise Support & Transaction Advisory
Job Summary:
The ESO Program Assistant will support the Senior Program Officer in implementing and managing initiatives aimed at enhancing enterprise support and transaction advisory services in Ghana and across Africa. This role involves program coordination, stakeholder engagement, research, and administrative support to contribute to the quality and effectiveness of enterprise support organizations (ESOs) and the broader ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Program Support & Coordination
- Assist in managing the Enterprise Support Collaborative, including maintaining and updating the ESOGhana.org digital platform.
- Support the execution of action plans to drive collaboration and improve the quality of enterprise support services.
- Assist to coordinate capacity-building initiatives, program rating systems, certification programs, and other quality improvement activities.
- Transaction Advisory Program Assistance
- Provide administrative and logistical support for the Transaction Advisory Ghana program.
- Assist in the development and dissemination of tools, resources, and training materials for transaction advisors.
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Support the engagement of key stakeholders, including ESOs, impact investors, donors, and policymakers, to enhance enterprise support services.
- Assist in recruiting and maintaining relationships with collaborative members and supporters.
- Research & Analysis
- Conduct research on enterprise support, impact investing, and related fields to identify trends and opportunities.
- Analyze local and international reports and policies impacting enterprise support and provide updates to collaborative members.
- Event & Representation Support
- Assist in the planning and coordination of events, workshops, and forums to promote enterprise support and transaction advisory initiatives.
- Administrative Support
- Maintain accurate records of program activities, stakeholder engagements, and collaborative initiatives.
- Provide logistical and operational support for program activities, including scheduling meetings and preparing reports.
Other Duties
Perform other tasks as assigned by the Senior Program Officer to ensure the effective delivery of program objectives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field preferred.
- Completed National Service
- Proven experience as a Personal Assistant or similar role, preferably supporting high-level executives.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
- Discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
