Job Description Senior Officer
We are seeking an experienced Senior M/E Officer to lead and oversee the implementation of a robust Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL) framework for Impact Investing Ghana (IIGh). This senior-level role is critical to ensuring the organization achieves its strategic objectives and project outcomes through evidence-based decision-making, high-quality data collection, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Development and Implementation M/E Framework :
- Design and implement the overall organisational and project MEAL framework, including regular reviews, mid-term project evaluations, impact assessments, and final evaluations.
- Develop a comprehensive Project Performance Monitoring Plan with appropriate data collection and analysis systems.
- Capacity Building:
- Organize and deliver training sessions for team members to enhance understanding and capacity for implementing MEAL systems.
- Data Management and Analysis:
- Collect and analyze data regularly to measure project achievements against key performance indicators.
- Ensure data quality through rigorous checks and maintain an effective and secure M&E database.
- Aggregate findings and translate them into actionable insights.
- Reporting and Communication:
- Support the preparation of project progress reports, mid-term reviews, and final evaluation documents.
- Produce high-quality M&E reports, presentations, and case studies to highlight project achievements and lessons learned.
- Organizational Learning and Improvement:
- Identify lessons learned and best practices to improve organizational and project performance.
- Advise the Program Director on enhancing project implementation and outcomes based on M&E findings.
- Knowledge Sharing:
- Develop case studies and qualitative assessments to showcase project impacts.
- Facilitate internal and external sharing of key findings through presentations and written materials.
- Partnerships and Stakeholder Engagement:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, partners, and donors to understand their MEAL needs, foster collaboration and share MEAL outcomes.
- Provide support in aligning MEAL strategies with stakeholder priorities and reporting requirements.
- Policy and Strategy Alignment:
- Ensure that all MEAL processes and frameworks align with organizational policies and strategic priorities.
- Propose innovative methodologies and tools to strengthen MEAL efforts and maximize impact.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in designing and executing impactful monitoring and evaluation strategies to track program success and drive informed decision-making.
- Skilled in creating and distributing comprehensive reports, dashboards, and documentation, including annual reviews, program summaries, and stakeholder communications that effectively convey organisational impact and outcomes.
- Highly detail-oriented with excellent project management and data analysis skills, ensuring high-quality, evidence-based insights.
- Proficient in event organization and facilitation, including stakeholder meetings, workshops, and training sessions.
- Advanced proficiency in tools and software applications such as MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and specialized M/E tools (e.g., SPSS, Stata, Power BI).
- Collaborative leader and team player with strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills, fostering a positive, high-performance work environment even under time pressure.
- Experienced in developing communication strategies and leading cross-functional teams to ensure the effective dissemination of monitoring results.
- Holds a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in relevant fields such as social sciences, project management.
