Call for Interns – Partnerships & Fundraising

Description

The Partnerships Intern will support fundraising and assist in executing the comprehensive partnership strategy of IIGh. The Partnerships Intern will work with the Partnerships team in the development and management of partnerships crucial to the mission of Impact Investing Ghana (IIGh). They will work closely with the Strategic Partnerships Manager to identify, cultivate, and maintain relationships with various stakeholders including government entities, local and international foundations, industry associations, development finance institutions (DFIs), and other key partners. 

 

Responsibilities  

1. Stakeholder Engagement & Partnerships Development

  • Assist in stakeholder mapping, research, and updating partner databases.
  • Support the development of communication materials and reports for stakeholders.
  • Help coordinate meetings, events, and networking activities with partners.

2. Partnerships & Fundraising Support

  • Support fundraising efforts by identifying funding opportunities and assisting in proposal writing.
  • Maintain accurate records of partnerships, donor interactions, and funding applications.
  • Contribute to monitoring and reporting on partnership engagement and impact.

3. Administrative & Logistical Support

  • Assist with partnership documentation, report preparation, and data management on the partnerships CRM
  • Provide logistical support for partnership events and stakeholder activities.
  • Support daily operations and perform other ad hoc partnership-related tasks.

  • Complete projects and tasks in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree especially in business, finance, or a related field
  2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  3. Previous internship or work experience in a related field is a plus.
  4. Completed National Service
  5. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  6. Interest in enterprise development, impact investing, and sustainability.
  7. Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  8. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
