The Ghana Angel Investor Network (GAIN), hosted by Impact Investing Ghana, invites ecosystem actors and investors to its second in-person workshop on “How to Create an Angel Network.”
This interactive session will explore the fundamentals of setting up and managing angel networks in Ghana, drawing from regional and global best practices. Participants will gain practical insights into structuring networks, mobilizing local capital, and supporting early-stage businesses to scale.
Angel investors play a critical role in bridging Africa’s early-stage financing gap. Yet, despite Africa raising $6.5 billion in startup funding in 2022, less than 5% came from local angel investors. Building strong angel networks in Ghana is key to ensuring that opportunities for innovation, growth, and wealth creation remain within our local ecosystem.
